Everyone is concerned about the price that their attorney will cost. Although there is no good time for an Assault charge, it seems as if they always happen at the worst possible time. I will discuss my fees with you at your free consultation. Every case is different, so it is impossible for me to list out my fees on this website.
Here are some general facts about my fees.
1. My fees are almost always quoted on a "Flat-Fee" basis.
This way you will know up front how much it will cost to retain me as your attorney. Most criminal defense attorneys use a flat-fee in their services. This is opposed to an hourly fee, which is usually used by civil attorneys. I prefer the flat-fee method, allowing my clients to know exactly how much their representation will cost.
My experience with hourly fees are that someone always feels they are being taken advantage of. The client never knows if the time is accurate, and no one wants to see a $100 bill for a phone call.
2. My fees
My fees fall somewhere in the middle to upper range of fees charged by criminal defense attorneys. I am not the cheapest attorney around, nor do I strive to be. If I were, I would probably have too many clients to be able to give you the personal attention you deserve. I would rather have less clients and more time to spend with them than to have lots of clients with no personal time.
If fees are your one and only concern, and you are looking for the cheapest possible lawyer you can find, I am probably not the attorney for you.
I am definitely not the most expensive attorney around either. I understand that anytime someone is coming to see a lawyer it is almost always an unexpected expense. I will work with you (within reason) and set up a payment plan with you if necessary.
3. Credit Cards
I accept all major credit cards at no additional cost to you. I do not add any additional "convenience" fees, as is the practice with some other places.
In fact, I accept credit cards directly on this website!
As far as I know, I am the only lawyer that has a convenient website set up to take credit cards directly on their website!

4. I'm with you from the start to the fininsh
Assault cases are complicated. No two cases seem to be resolved in the same way. Sometimes, we head to trial, sometimes we work out a deal with the prosecutor, and sometimes we are able to convince the DA to dismiss. With our cases, I am going to be with you from start to fininsh -- regardless if we have a trial. Most criminal attorneys charge extra fees if the case goes to trial. However, I do not do that in assault representation.
If after we review of all of the evidence and offers made, you decide you want to have a trial, there is no additional trial fee. When you hire me, you know I'm going to be with you until the case is resolved.
For your convenience, I accept all major credit cards
